HASBRO BRAIN
This was a piece done for a Hasbro print ad, warning the reader of the perils of this strategy game. The photographer used black-and-white film, eschewing the nascent trend, in those days, of digital photography. This made the photography workflow different in that test prints were done with Polaroids (the peel film) and that the photographer and client had to wait for prints to be shuttled back from the lab for final approval. Furthermore, the visual effects were done mostly in-camera with studio lighting as opposed to relying excessively on digital post-production.
